and as appeared in the 1851 Census;
William MACHON, head, Married, Male, 46, Ship Builder, Born: St Peters Port
Maria MACHON, wife, Married, Female, 44, Born: St Peters Port
William L. MACHON, son, not married, Male, 19, Ship Carpenter, Born: St Peters Port
Maria Rachel MACHON, daughter, not married, Female, 18, Born: St Peters Port
Mary Adelaide MACHON, daughter, not married, Female, 16, Ironer, Born: St Peters Port
Victoria MACHON, daughter, not married, Female, 12, Crotchet Maker, Born: St Peters Port
Louisa A. MACHON, daughter, not married, Female, 10, Born: St Peters Port
Martha C. MACHON, daughter, not married, Female, 7, Born: St Peters Port
Lydia Isabella MACHON, daughter, not married, Female, 3, Born: St Peters Port

William and his family migrated to South Australia aboard the 479 tons ship the "Navarino" with Captain T STOREY. The ship left Southampton on the 4th May 1854 and arrived at Port Adelaide on the 14th August 1854. William was recorded as aged 49, born in St. Peter Port, Guernsey and his occupation was listed as Ship Carpenter / Builder.

I was in the Priaux library and looked up many of the certificates. This couple are my husbands ancestors.
William's sister Marie is my ancestor.

This is not my site, but I send information to the owner as I could never do as good a job as he has.

Do you mind if I ask how you are related to them?
