Hello Posteria ,
Well done , I am shocked as I can't see that marriage on FreeBMD , I might be placing to much confidence in FreeBMD I think . Thanks also to Liz, I also seem to come across strange coincidences , especially with Prouts .
I will have to look again for the birth of a Minnie Stear, whether its on FreeBMD or not ?
Regards
Alan

Well Done you two !
I still can't see marriage on Free BMD , is it usually reliable ? I could be missing lots of things if not . I just had a quick look for any children of George and Minnie on FreeBMD 1920-1935 but there was nothing . I better try GRO just in case !
Regards
Alan

Hello Alan

You are very welcome - but it was Liz who did most of the work.

Regarding FreeBMD, click on the word “Information” which is the middle one of the five red boxes on the FreeBMD Home or Welcome page and then scroll down to “Statistics” and click on the first option which is “Coverage Charts”.

Then click on “Marriages” and select the appropriate range of years and you will be able to see how much has been transcribed for each year. 1920 is a particularly bad year, at the moment, with less than 50% being completed but the database is being updated continually.
