Eva was born in 1899 as Sarah Evangeline Davies and was the daughter of Hugh and Mary Davies of the Ffosmaen Inn, Nantyglo.  She died in 1984 in Neville Hall Hospital, Abergavenny after a fall in her home. 
By the time of the 1911 census the family had moved to Milfraen House, Nantyglo.
Eva married my father (William Jelly) in 1926.  They divorced in the mid 1940's and she returned to Nantyglo and reverted to her maiden name.
Does anyone remember her?  I wondered what she was like and also I have been told that she was an invalid, but not sure if this is true. :-\
