Stephen family, Garndiffaith
« on: Thursday 10 February 05 23:24 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Also looking for John Stephen, b. 1846, Garndiffaith.  A common name I know, but just wondered if he appears in the 1851/61 census?

Thanks, Ali x

I'm afraid thats where i come unstuck.  I don't know his father's name.  He was married to Ann (surname unknown), born in 1846 in Merthyr, Glamorgan and had a daughter Agnes born in 1878 in Bagill Flint.  As you can see I'm struggling!

Why dont get a copy of the birth certificate for Agnes which will give the mothers maiden name, then look for the marriage certificate.
