Quite a few of the younger ones not with their parents, which make things difficult as well.

In 1891 James H and Louisa are next door to George and Harriet that Roma found, with children Louisa aged 3 and Eliza 7mths

I think that this is where some of the confusion has set in that children are living with relatives and not parents and next door etc. 
A lot of the information I have came to me before the records were readily available and it was not easy to double check them.

John Thomas Hanchett(my gt grandfather) 1861-1920 md to Georgina Gower 1864-1887(md 06-06-1881)they had three children (1)(John thomas Hanchett(my grandfather)1882-1954md Edith Ella Colbear 1881-1929(md 1902).(2)George Phillip Hanchett1884-.(3)Ernest Sydney Hanchett(1886-1886)
My grandfather had two sons William Bramwell 1905=1987 & Arthur Douglas Hanchett(my father)1919-1993 married Elsie Davies(1917-1993)in1941 They had five children Douglas Elwyn(1941-2009)Brian Arthur(myself 1944)Patricia Daphne(1946)Deryck Michael(1949)Eunice Elizabeth(1953)
I have two children Tina Anne Hanchett(1969)&Paul Brian Hanchett(1970)md Sarah Gedge(1975)in1999
they have two children Nathan Joshua Hanchett(2004)& Alex Derek Hanchett(2008)

I think I have some of that information on your family but would like to find out more.  The Hanchett's are related to my Hanchant's hence my looking for information on your ggrandfather.

I'm not sure what you are looking for;The first John Thomas Hanchett(1862)was the third son of George Hanchett 1828-1894 & Harriet Peters 1833-1907.George was born in Abridge(Parish of Lambourne)Essex
moving to Halling (Kent)where he married Harriet.The 1871 Halling(Kent) Census says George was born in Abridge Essex(This is not to be confused with Heybridge Essex where a lot of reports say he originated from)I have also the 1851 census for Abridge  that reports him living at home with his parents aged 21.this all links up with his father William Hanchett 1800-1864 married Hanah Smith on August 17th 1827(I was born August 17th 1944 exactly 117 years later)they had two children George1828 & William 1829.
I have taken my male line back to circa 1400
