1891 look up please-LAMB

Hi, l wonder if sks would very kindly look for the following on the 1891 census?

William LAMB born c1813 Wrotham, Kent. Railway switchman
Sarah LAMB (wife) born c1825 Tonbridge, Kent

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Not having much luck with this.

Where were they in 1881? Were they alive in 1901?

Hi Barbara, l should have checked 1881 before l posted? but l've just checked and there living in Sussex? Ref:RG11 piece 1024 folio 68 page 1. The address is Stonefield Road, Hastings, St Mary in the castle.

Sincere thanks for your help with this one, the death record you found could well be my William? the age fits and Hastings was there last known address?

I can see a Sarah A Lamb widow in 1901 b Tonbridge aged 78. She is described as grandmother in the household of William Paine and his wife Aimee - living in Margate.

Will see if I can find her in 1891.
