Hi

Vere - means true, so maybe the birth of May 3 1791 was thought to be more the true date. :-\

Hi,

Do you mean a Baptism Register?

Perhaps born on 20 Mar 1791 and baptised on 3 May 1791.  :-\

Hi

Me again!

Is the word definately 'sent' as there is a word 'sunt' which means 'they were'

Vere means 'truthfully', Verus means 'true'

Baptisms would normally read something like this,

Die 20th Decemberis 1913 nata et die 25th Januarii 1914 baptizata est

Born on the 20th December 1913 and baptised on 25th January 1914

and so on

H Folks,
Thanks to you all for making sense of this. Yes it was a baptism register, my mistake it was a long day.
The word sent could possibly be sunt, the wording was hard to read.
Thanks
Kovel.
