48 Hawarden Road Walthamstow shows Lucy Sweaton (s/be Smeaton?) nee Stanton Wife, and Lucy Isle (s/be Ida) Kathleene (s/be Kathleen) Suffman (s/be Luffman). Was James Smeaton who married Ida c1918 related to Lucy's husband, and if so how?

You could look for them on the earlier censuses but without the marriage certificates if would be difficult to confirm/show any relationship.

Thanks, seems possible though if he's the one George at 16 seems an unlikely husband for Lucy who was 36 in 1911. James seems much more likely, there could of course be an older brother or Lucy could have married James and George's father.

I sent this 191 census for James Smeaton to try to establish his parentage so a possible link up could be made to the husband of Lucy senior age 36 in 1911     Lucy I.K. is 15 in the 1911 census therefore born c 1896, Boston Lincs. , a cousin of Lucy senior..

We need Lucy Smeaton/ Smeaton, nee Stanton's husband's details before any St Pancras atttempt can be made to try to find a relationship.

Lucy Sweaton/Smeaton was born c 1875, Middlesex St Pancras.

James Smeaton was born c 1893  Camden Town.

Pancras & Camden Town are in close proximity & it is there that the connection may be made.
