Hi Theresa,
Had a look but can't find him either. Possible he hadn't been named, I had trouble finding my gran in 1901 as she appeared as "A baby". Do you know details of parents or siblings? Or is that what you're trying to find out? ??? Jan

I've had a look through the images of Kinson for you, but not a Wheatley in sight I'm afraid. Have you found him in 1881? I've just looked and there is only one James Wheatley born Dorset roughly right age, he does appear in 1871 age 1 born Poole parents Stephen and Mary. No chance he could be your man I suppose? ??? Just re-read your PM and realised you have Annie in 1871 but as you said you had no occupation for her and I found one I've left the info for you.  ;) Jan

Hi once more Theresa,
Think I might have found the baby in 1871  if I've found the right one in 1881. It was the Kent connection you mentioned in your PM, and the fact that the gentleman I found in the Kent boys home is listed under  Alfred in 1881, that led me to this young man  :-\ ???:
Alfred Wheatley     1 month     Smarden     Grandson     Living in Smarden, Kent with grandparents Thomas and Sophie Wheatley - are these names you recognise?
RG10/957 ED 11 Folio 59 Pg15
BTW I've found to get best results from lookups it is a good idea to post everything you already know about a person with your intial enquiry.  ;)
Regards  Jan
