Is anyone using this site at the present time? Have they found that it has improved?

Would like to hear of folk's experiences recently.

Hi Dee,    Had a chance to use WVR just before Christmas, had a 5day free
trial of whole site.   Fantastic........subs were $69.95, not sure if this still available.  I found heaps of stuff, both in US and UK.   Would have joined but off for a 6mth round Aus holiday soon, so will keep it in mind for later in the year.

HNY to you...............Ros (daisygirl)

It is available free in the library Dee. I find the site hard to use, unless you have very fast internet the files take forever to load and then may have nothing of interest anyway. Most of the government gazette hits are only a name on a list (prob unclaimed letters for that year.) The indexing is terrible. It just does not work. I have spent all day looking through every record available for SA for a person as using the index to search all Australia gives no results but if I look through each of their databases separately I will find hits. The site has potential. They do have quite a bit of Australian content, if only the indexing worked and it was more user friendly. Hopefully it will improve in time.

Cheers Kris  :)

Thanks Daisy and Kris.  :)

Don't think I'll spend my Christmas money there this year then.....the slow download was the problem I had with the initial trial, and where I am you can only have very slow broadband.

Looks like I find myself an interesting disk instead......
