Hi Ringrose

I found the marriage of William Andrews and Ann Bartlett, both of this parish,  in the Whitminster (formerly Wheatenhurst) PR on 9th Aug 1802.  William signed and Ann made her mark.  They were married by Banns by the curate John Hawkins, and the witnesses were Samuel Weight and Thos? Critchley.

No other information, I'm afraid, but hope the witness names help.

Thank you so much for looking that up for me .Will now do a bit more investigation. With such a common name its hard to be sure you have the right one.

Whitminster is some distance from Tewkesbury - over 20 miles away.  This might just be another William & Ann.  Did the witnesses help?
