Of course Fiona could have obtained most of the information simply by sitting in her beautiful kitchen with a laptop on the worktop - but it wouldn't have made much of a programme  ;D

I still think that most of us "non-celebs." would have much more interesting family history stories to tell. Some of my ancestors lives are equal to episodes of Eastenders any day!  :)
