"Can't read birthplace"Stuck!!!!

Hello,
        trying to decipher the Birthplace for Emma James,on a Staffordshire census it's transcribed as "Jankshire,Danedam".
I think it may mean Lancashire but I'm not sure,and the other bit haven't got a clue ...... I'm lost !!!!!!
RG10 2861 31 page 3....

The county does look like Lankashire and the place Danedam. The nearest match I can come up with is Downham.

She married Thomas Wain in 1871 (she was his housekeeper in 1871) and on the 1881 census she is shown as b Stoke on Trent

Her daughter Emma James b 1858/59 is with grandparents in Cheddleston 1861 but they are called William & Fanny Woodward

At Last - 1891 census shows her b Newton Le Willows Lancashire and she is aged 54 so around 1836-37

And in 1901 - also Newton Le Willows - s/name is Waine aged 64

1871 shows her an unmarried.  1871/1881/1891 shows her married s/n as Wain.  1901 has an E on the end
