Please help this is the occupation of one of my ancestors 1911 census .
I have tried different variants 
Gull man on the bbk????
Occupation code is 961  which is water and drainage
Any ideas?????

Have you found him in 1901? or a marriage? or some other source, to see what his occupation is then?

Hi
I did'nt find on the 1901 census  and his marriage after the census states Labourer .
I wondered if the job was to do with boats or rail his brother worked on the Gwr in paddington .

I wonder if it is Gulley man, aka Gulley Cleaner who swept, cleaned and flushed gulleys ans drains in and around factories, works or other buildings.
