Caddington Burials - EILES
« on: Sunday 15 February 09 08:23 GMT (UK) »
Hi, trying to find out if 2 people are actually buried in All Saints Churchyard in Caddington. I was told by my father that my great grandparents were buried there. I looked, graves are not marked.

Any help would be appreciated.  Henry James Eiles d. 1943 aged 68 years. Minnie Lucy Eiles d. 1946 aged 69.  Just need confirmation that these people are buried there (then I know for certain that they are my great grandparents.

Many thanks,
EILES (Bethnal Green, Westham, Leyton & Bedfordshire). SURRY (Southgate, Guilden Morden& Kent). DODSON & KNOWLES (Lymm, Bucklow, Cheshire). HODGE & DODD (Luton, Bedfordshire). SMITH (Bethnal Green)

Try Caddington's online site and ask that you are put in touch with a village historian.  All villages have them!   ;D

Bedfordshire: Worker [Flitton]; Ames [Kempston]; Manton [Kempston]; Morris [?]; Valentine [Kempston]; Two & Osborn [Cranfield]

Herfordshire and West London: Brown [Kent in early 19th C]; Blackwell.
McCarthy [Clonakilty, County Cork - searching for needles in the haystack!] and LOSTY [Dublin]
