Hi Carmel,

I can only find 2 George Goodfellows born around 1835 (one in 1832 & other in 1838) who were born in Wiltshire and neither had a wife called Priscilla.

I have found a George Goodfellow aged 39, born in Salisbury, with wife Sarah and 2 step children, one of whom is called George.  Any chance that Priscilla had died and George re-married?

Thanks for help Maggie
1861 they were at Whitchurch, Glamorgan  Iron Bridge Row
1881 at    Tyny Park  Whitchurch, Glamorgan, Wales
Wife's name spelt Precilla in 1861 but otherwise same .  They had another child Henry born Jul-Sep 1871 so I think they should be there somewhere.  One census today was spelt with only one l ie Goodfelow but otherwise I can't think of anything else to find them.
Regards, Carmel

Hi Carmel,

I am not being much help here, and unfortunately I have to go out now.  I will continue looking when I return but in the meantime I  am sure someone else will be along to help.

Best of luck,
Maggie

Hi Cardiff and may thanks for the information. :)  I don't really know enough to say if they are family or not.  The Edward certainly fits with age of Edward son of George and Priscilla but I don't have a Minnie there anywhere.  The only way I can fit her in is if she is sister of George born 1835 who moved from Wiltshire to Wales.  There is a big gap in his siblings from early years after marriage in 1818 so if this is my family she must be an aunt of Edward.  The other 2 could easily be his children.  I haven't done research on the next generation yet.  These are descendants of my ancestor's brother.  The one in old graveyard could be George born 1835 or it could even be his father visiting from Wiltshire but that is unlikely - I haven't found him in census and think he died back in 1860s. George Junior's mother died 1855 in Wiltshire. I also don't have any other family in Wales so familysearch free BMD etc are the only sites I have with records for Wales.
Thanks Carmel

I've found some more information today re the burials at St Mary's Whitchurch information and Minnie was wife of Edward but there is a mistake somewhere either in date of death or age as she was born c 1872 so was not 87 in 1906. If someone can find this for me I'd be grateful.
