Can anyone tell me where Sansoms Yard was in Mansfield in 1911.

Off Stockwell Gate, past the old Shoe Company going towards the old Victoria Hospital according to my dad - I've got rellies living at No. 4 !!!

               I have a street map revised in 1914 and it is not marked on there allthough I can see a small un-named yard that might be the one. If it is, it is on the corner of Dallas St. and Stockwell Gate and allmost in the grounds of the Workhouse.
My interests lie with the Parkes living at no. 5 in 1911.

Gosh, next door neighbours - I'll ask gran about them if you like, she's bound to know, she seems to know almost everyone around that area She only just missed out being on the 1911 census herself, but I've found her elder sister in 1911, on Ratcliffe Gate.

I have done some research into the Bowers who owned the builders and plumbing merchants on Stockwell Gate and Padley Hill. I bet your gran will remember them although I understand they are not your Bowers.
