Have received so much help that it has encouraged me to restart my research after a break of a couple of years. I was up against a brick wall before I found this site.
Many thanks to all those who give their time to help and encourage other people.

Rootschat seems to be a unique site on the Internet, unless there are other genealogy forums.

Of course its of help to me - anyone even considering reaserching family history should visit this site if they can.

I have to give this one a resounding yes.
Not only have I gone further with my original family tree (compiled by a G.Uncle in the 70's but I have taken the tree back at least four generations.
I have found family for my sis in law including an online picture of her Great Grandfather.
And countless other little clues!!
