Yes, yes and yes ;D

I've only been on since 4th February 2008, I have not only found past rellies but also a whole thread of family alive and well whom we knew nothing about!

I have been helped and in turn I have been able to help.

We are all here to learn and to share knowledge - Rootschat deserves a real pat on the back.

A resounding yes has to be the reply, not only have several brick walls been knocked down for me but the help, advice and encouragement I have had is amazing. And as a bonus I have found a whole lot of caring friends. This is by far the best research site, well done Trystan and Sarah and all the mods

A most resounding YES.
The helpful people on here are amazing. I have only been a member for a few weeks, but I have made so much progress with my research -all due to the lovely people who give their time and their resources to help each other.
The photograph restoration forum is fantastic too. Rootschat is my homepage, and there is always something of interest to read. Thanks to you all,
    Cheers, Pat.

I'm really hoping that RC might be of help.

To be honest, I've been here, and I think that I'm completely stuck.  But at the same time, I can't quite believe that I've got both grandfathers that I can't trace any further back.  That 'half' of my family history ends with grandparents.

I'm happy I found this site too.  There are so many helpful people out there.  And it's nice to know you're not the only one who gets excited about finding dead people! :)
