Good morning,

There is no doubt at all that this site has been the best one I've come across, and has enabled me to make so much progress.

I am constantly amazed by the willingness of people to take and send photographs of the graveyards where my ancestors are buried, the streets they lived in, and to spend so much time and trouble helping out. And when I can help out in return, it's true that you can derive a lot of satisfaction too !

Great stuff all round. I am constantly recommending the site to others, who are, in turn, very impressed !

Thank you one and all !

Nick

Bit of a cheat really, saying I think this site will help me....
I've only just stumbled on this thread and I've been helped tremendously already.
There were two other sites that were very dear to me, one, sadly is no more, which is a shame, because it had a tree building section that was very, very good.
The other has members who are just as generous with their time and support as Roots, but the system and the moderation is diabolical, and no one in their right might would stay there...which says a lot for me...

As long as Roots is standing and will have me, I'll be here and spreading the word about this wonderful site and its wonderful people.

Oh, and by the way, Rabbit, not only Gravestone, but the written word in general... letters, postcards, whatever, all included.

Good Afternoon PaulaToo,

The moderator of the thread that I mentioned has promised to put all that on for the team of people involved in that one so I did not mention it for that reason.

Hope that you will find it useful!  I agree about the other site and the moderation!  Why do you think I am here!  ;D

This is the best site on the web! :)
