Thank you for the link of ACTS OF RANDOM KINDNESS.  Can see this will be a useful site.

Have been off on a tangent searching historical data on one of my relies involved in the Louis Riel Rebellion - fascinating stuff.  Also been away and out doing pics of ancestors graves.  Putting off looking for Wales relatives - COOMBS - until more information comes to hand.  Research on Shetland going great.

the answer is a massive YES,i have only been a member for a couple of days and posted a few messages,but right away people have been only too willing to help,and looked up information for me,which has been a big help.i also like the format of the site,in which you can go to the different counties.everyone is so helpful and friendly.i love it.hope soon i will be able to maybe help somebody myself..........brilliant ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
