Yes you have guessed correct they are the right people. It seems that they were going to stay with my uncle as he had a farm in Essex at that time. Thanks for the information on Elsie I must try to get in touch with her as there are so few of us left on that side of the family.

Many thanks for your help in tracing my Aunt Florence. I have also managed to trace a visit she made in 1951. My newly discovered cousin sent copies of some family photos and one was of both of my aunts and their daughters in London for the day. From the clothes and ages of the girls I knew it must have been before 1960.
I think that this look-up request is now complete so thanks once again to everybody.
