....Thank you so much for sharing..Oh how I wish I could say one was mine.
Are your photos mainly of Hogg names or did you get carried away and click stones to your hearts content ?
One more question...did you concentrate on only certain cemeteries.
Again...Thanks for sharing.

A long time ago I was asked to look for some Hoggs and each time I go on one of my little trips I still notice the Hogg ones so its easy enough to photo them I have some more

Speaking of photos I'm expecting one through the door with a fine attached as I think I was going a little fast on my way to wilton cemetery today and passed a camera van but 'sel a vie' first ticket I've had for about twenty + years which isn't bad

Thankyou Andrew - what a lovely surprise in my inbox this morning !! A coachman - now have to find out where ;D
I think the Alexander at the bottom must be one of their twin sons ,haven't found him anywhere else, maybe died as a baby.
This is just awesome & something I will probably never get to see myself.
Many,many thanks
Barbara ;D

Wow... lots of Hoggs. Sadly none of mine even though I have them on two sides. But I think I will look into Peter as there is a lot of Peters in my tree.

Will report back if successful!

Its something about Hoggs... the gravestones do tend to stick out ;D

Thank you!

Tracey

Hi,

I found this headstone in St Marys Churchyard in Hawick today and thought there might be a Hogg out there who may be interested.

Hi Andrew,

I haven't been to Wilton but I hope to visit soon along with the other cemeteries in Hawick.

I know that most of my ancestors died in Hawick but I only know where a few of them are buried so it could take me a while.  Do you know the best place to ask when you want to find out where someone is buried?
