Barwick/Yeovil baptism - LAWRENCE

Hello,
Not sure if anyone can help but i'm trying to find the baptism of my Gt grandfather GEORGE LAWRENCE.

He was born GEORGE LAWRENCE KING in 1844 in Bradford Abbas and was an illegitimate child. His mother was called ANN KING and the father was not known at that time.

3 years later in 1847 ANN KING married JOHN LAWRENCE in Bradford Abbas. So i would take a good guess at JOHN being the father of GEORGE.

In 1851 they are living in Merriott.

I've had a look from 1844 onwards for GEORGE'S baptism but no luck. So i'm hoping that JOHN & ANN moved away from Bradford Abbas in the direction of Merriott as soon as they got married and got GEORGE baptised somewhere other than Bradford Abbas.

The next villiage/town on from Bradford Abbas is Barwick and maybe Yeovil so i'm hoping that somebody will have access to the parish records for Barwick & Yeovil.

Hi there

From freereg Merriott All Saints, George born 21 Apr 1844 bap 2 Aug 1846 mother Ann King, abode Broadway Merriott . No father shown and in the notes is says BB (baseborn).

At least you know where he was baptised
