ss. Pasteur
« on: Tuesday 24 February 09 18:19 GMT (UK) »
Ive recently gained possession of my late grand dads photo album which he kept while he was in Africa in the mid - late 40s. All his photos are labeled but where one is labeled 'ss. Pasteur' the photo is missing. Does anyone know anything about this boat? and better still have a photo to fill the gap in his book?

Many Thanks

Adam

PS. If anyone would like to see any of the pics from Judea, Cairo, Bethlehem, Jerusalem etc, just let me know.

There is quite a bit of information on her in Wikipedia.

She was renamed SS Bremen in 1957.

Many Thanks. I assume it was just in port when my grand dad decided to take a pic of it, just a shame his photo is missing from his book so will print one off to replace it.
