A few weeks ago I mentioned that in Ward's trade directory for the North of England 1851, there were listed the names of registrars for all District and sub-District Register Offices in Counties Durham, Northumberland, Cumberland and Westmoreland.

A chatter asked me a query on the topic, but I did not have list at hand. Now I do but I have mislaid name of chatter, who wanted the information.
