Do you want to give us his name, and other details from the later censuses like approx age, place of birth, family members etc - and see if lots more eyes can spot him lurking anywhere?

Thank you for your offer.

I am looking for William Ruffell b c1820 in Galleywood.
I have him in all the censuses 1851 - 1901, he died in 1903.
In 1851 he was in Springfield prison!

It's the 1841 I can't find him, although I think I may have found his parents , James was his father's name.

I tried to send an email to the vicar of the parish church in Galleywood yesterday, but it was returned undelivered. The records for the baptisms of the church there are not held at ERO, so hoped the church may have been able to help.

If you are able to find him, that would be great, but don't worry if not.
