Many thanks for your info. I am wondering if Edward jnr's occupation as Compositor, plus the fact that he married Emily Louisa Bond, born London, whose father was Frederick Bond, occupation=Editor, may indicate that Edward Conroy snr may have been employed as a correspondent/writer within the 18th Reg't? Any suggestions?
