Nevins Family

Hi Everyone,
Has anyone come across the Family "Nevins" in there search. or , in there Tree?.....I'm stuck on this Family.
 The only infomation on this Family is that John Nevins married Elizabeth Armstrong in 1786 in Falstone, Northumberland, and subsequently had three children.  This Family is my 4th Generation Grandparents and I would like any information about John and Elizabeth, their Parents, birth etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried searching the Bishops' Transcripts on http://www.rootschat.com/links/05mf/

they're not indexed by name, but if you click on Northumberland then Falstone, the records there go from 1770 - 1856 although I haven't checked for the marriage and am not sure how good the coverage is

Thanks a lot, how do you find these brilliant Web Sites.?
Just took a peek at the info (Got to go out) and it looks good, also, I noted Hartburn is also included on this site, which I'm very much interested in.
Hopefully, later today I will sit down and trawl though the info, in the meantime thanks again

IGI has extracted marriage date;

Jno NEVIN to Eliza. ARMSTRONG
7 October 1786
Falstone, Northumberland

There are no other Nevin marriages but lots of Armstrongs on this batch of marriages 1748-1812

Morning Ecneps and Trish,
Just thought I would give you both a update so far.
Had my head into the Bishops Transcripts for hours yesterday, but no luck so far on the Nevins Clan, as it happens to all of us from time to time the vital records (Dates) that you are looking for are missing. However, I'm still trawling this site and I am just as interested in the Transcripts for Hartburn and Auckland, hopefully I'll find some other Ancestors.
Thanks for that info Trish and two of those Armstrong Marriages that you found are mine.
Anyway, appreciate your help and if you come across any info about my Nevin Family let me know
