1911 Census age 39 (1872)
she had a brother called Ishmael.b 1847
 

Is this right, Ishmael b 1847, that would be 23 years between them. ??? Do you mean 1867.

I`m getting very confused with all the links to various threads for this family  ::) ::) ;D

If Evan was born in Bryneglwys, hus birth woulf be registered at Corwen.

There`s no entry on Free BMD for Evan Griffiths Corwen from Sept 1837 to 1840. this could be because the birth was not registered. It was NOT compulsary at the time.

The only thing you can do is search the parish registers for a baptism if you are looking for his father Thomas and the name of his mother.

If he was Non conformist then you may have a problem as there are very few Chapel registers about.
