I need to untangle my possible ancestors pre 1800 but Sweet and Lear are definitely surnames found in Bitton parish (Oldland was part of this parish originally) . Bitton is in South Gloucestershire about 6 miles from both  Bath and Bristol. Can assist with information about this area. Several of the other surnames, Bateman, Jefferies, Wilmott crop up locally too. JMJ9
