Hi,

I'm interested in the name Haddow and its variants, in Ayrshire, in the 17th century.

I've gone back as far as James Haddoway possibly from Ayr Ayrshire and his wife Jonet McWhaill.  They may have been born in the 1640s.

I know record are scarce at that date, but any data on the family then or their origins would be great.
