MCLAREN family in Kilmarnock
« on: Saturday 24 April 04 08:13 BST (UK) »
Just bringing this post forward again.

Looking for information on McLaren's from the Kilmarnock area. In particular David McLaren b. 1828 Mauchline m. Margaret Dickie b. 1835 Dalrymple. They married 1854 in Glasgow. Davids parents were Thomas McLaren and Helen Higgins who married 23/12/1816 Irvine, Ayr.
David and Margaret had several children one of which was George born in Kilmarnock abt 1857. He married Maria Turner in Melbourne, Aus. 13/3/1884.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Wendy

Hi Ticker,

Nice to hear from you.

The only other info I have is, the parents of David McLaren are Thomas McLaren and Helen Higgins.

Hoping this prompts a reply.

best wishes,

Wendy
