in the GRO consular indices 1860-5, these possibly related registrations

birth Georgiana Agnes Hammond Smyrna vol 3 pg 1508
and death Georgiana Agnes Hammond vol 3 pg 1405


There was a scheme in the late 19th century to move the river in Smyrna as it was silting up the port. Wonder if Robert was involved in that?

Elizabeth wasn't at home on the 1871 because she was a General Governess at Queen's College, Upper Holloway

Many small infillings included six houses in College Gardens, which were built between nos. 4 and 6 Carleton Road c. 1900 in the grounds of the former Queen's College private school. (fn. 69)

Looks like James was married before: Jun qtr 1870 Pancras 1b 150.  Either Julia Westrup or Julia Willson.  Perhaps Frank belongs to them
