You should contact Dave Ibbotson (username ibbotson). He too is researching the Green de Wolfson family; he must be related to you.

Hello
I too am searching for Isaac Mendel's family, he being, I believe, the herbalist in north London whose daughter's married name is Bruce Green. I am not sure how rootschat works so I hope you get this message.

Hi
Having read the responses to and fro, I think your paternal grandmother is a relative of mine. I have a copy of her family tree written by her in conjunction with my mother. How do we exchange information, this is all new to me?

Hi David, thanks for the message.
Someone did mention you to me before that you were also researching the name Bruce-Green De Woolfson, but i never got round to contacting you.
My surname is Bruce-Green, but apparently use to be Bruce-Green De Woolfson in the past, think the De Woolfson part was dropped around the time of the 2nd world war, leaving just Bruce-Green.
After reading a few of your posts, and replies, it does look like were both after the same thing.
My Grandad told me how the family used to own a chemist in London (Bruce-Green Chemists) but not sure where or when?
I have only got as far back in my family tree as my great grandfather, and am still looking for info on him, so i have a lot to do.
If we can help each other in anyway i would be grateful.
Regards
Richard (Alienboy36)
