Griffiths Town

I'm looking for help with my Griffiths'  All I have so far is Douglas Craven Griffiths, who married Ivy George in London in 1930.  I believe Douglas was born in 1909.  His father was Frederick Craven Griffiths but I know nothing more about him except he came from South Wales......I believe it was Griffiths Town.

There is an entry within the Free BMD placing Douglas in Pontypool in as you say 1909 but not with the middle name of Craven:

If you can definately locate your ancestor from Griffithstown it may be well worth you joining the Gwent Family History Society : http://www.rootsweb.com/~wlsgfhsp/first.html

I have two Douglas Craven-Griffith in my family one was born in 1907. ( He was my father's brother) their father was Frederick Arthur Craven-Griffiths born in 1870.

I have no link into Griffiths Town but my father was born in Abertillery, not far from Griffiths Town.

That's interesting....I'll have to look it all up but a chance there could be a connection.  Thanks for the information.  I'll get back to you soon.
