Priscilla LOVIBOND
« on: Wednesday 11 March 09 17:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I have encountered one Priscilla Lovibond who wed Uriah Hosier at Othery on the
30th Apr 1803. They were both shown as minors, so I assume this would mean that
she was born after 1785.

So, any candidates for her parents, or idea on her birth / bapt. date, Please.

Thanks in anticipation,

Chainsaw.

From the birthyear shown on this submitted IGI entry, it is too old for your Priscilla.  However - submitted entries are seldom reliable

Thanks CaroleW,
Yes, if it was the Matthew who wed Mary Strickland in 1773, then he
would have to have been pretty smart to get a daughter in 1723, when he was not
born until 1737.

Priscilla would have left it a bit late to start a family, not getting wed until she was
80 years old.

Thanks Hepburn,
I have seen that site, but the transcripts start 1792 for bapts, so a little bit too late
to be much use to me, unfortunately.
