Thankyou all for your help -  I do not expect to find them out of the country.
Can trace Clement until 1891 and from the 1930`s until his death but not with his wife.
All ancecdotal evidence has drawn a blank was hoping that I had overlooked
them on the 1901 and the 1911 census. ( Will look at the passenger lists just in case!)

It is possible that Clement and Elizabeth are in Wisbech in 1901 - at least, Ancestry seem to have made a bit of a pig's ear of Wisbech enumeration district 6.

Seaching for Longs born in Wisbech 1891-1900 (in case there were any children to find) I tried to look at an E R Long b 1900, who is indexed as a grandchild of 'C'.

The census image this links to is a single page of Wisbech St Peter's (no previous or next pages to go to).  E R Long is not on this page, although oddly, it includes 18 Canal Street, where Elizabeth's bother John Bouch is recorded.  Her brother George is on the same page.

I tried going through Wisbech district 6 page by page and couldn't find any Longs - but the pages are muddled, and the district description pages (which should be linked separately) are mixed in with them.

I had the same problem this morning, and gave up reporting wrong images to Ancestry! I'm not sure that they've missed anyone though, or whether they've just directed us to the wrong image pages

Hi Folks,

Thankyou for all of your efforts.

Clement Long died in Lowestoft 1947.   He was living in Oxfordsdhire during the 1930`s and early 1940`s without Elizabeth.   Clement and Elizabeth apparently had two
children both died  This coincides with deaths  found on FBMD but I haven`t
verified this with certificates.  They went on to" ?Adopt "my Grandmother who was born
in 1902, so I was certainly expecting to find them  all on the 1911 Census.

Hi again,

I believe that Clement Long born 1891 Sept qtr  Wisbech
and died Dec qtr Wisbech aged 0 may be their first child.
He seemed the most obvious but then I may be wrong.

I`m not sure about the second, most of my information about
their children has been anecdotal.

Grandmother Violet Simmons was born March 1902 Edmonton.(Workhouse)
I don`t know where or when Clement  and Elizabeth long ?adopted her.

Violet didn`t live in Norfolk as far as I am aware.
