HI: I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON THOMAS WOOD BORN 17 JUNE 1797 IN STROMNESS ORKNEY TO HUGH WOOD AND CHRISTINA SPENCE. THOMAS WAS A FISHERMAN AND MARRIED CATHERINE STANGER IN 1826 ALSO IN STROMNESS. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT ALSO ABOUT HIS PARENTS AS I HAVE HIT A BRICK WALL AND CANNOT FIND ANY INFORMATION. IF ANY ONE CAN HELP I WOULD APPRECIATE IT

hi, been doing some digging on scotlands people. Hugh Wood and Cirstie Spence married on 13/12/1785 in Sandwick, Orkney. there is 1 male child born to james wood and anna norn in sandwick on 1/1/1747. The birth certificate on scotlands people is unreadable unless you have very good eyesight. there seems to be only 1 child for Hugh and Christiana which is your Thomas. There are a few Christiana Spence,s on cursiter.com if you know which area she came from.
