Can anyone check this out for me it's driving me nuts 51 census Thomas Holdsworth born 1816  Clayton Yorkshire on the census he has married my gggrandmother Elizabeth Lee born 1823 I need to know about him before that date he married Elizabeth in 1846 he was a widower his fathers name was John Holdsworth he was a weaver, no date of birth on the census he has a child from his first marrage Johnathan Toweett Holdsworth, could that be his Mothers maiden name? I know Allan Lee Holdsworth was her son born 1843 can't find his farther nothing on the birth certificate Elizabeth's father was John Lee he was a Dyer, on the marriage certificate her witness was a John Harrison, and his was a George Bromley. can anyone find out who he was married to before Elizabeth.

Why not buy the "Johnathan Toweett Holdsworth" birth certificate?

In the last quarter of 1837 at Bradford, there is a birth registration for a Jonathan Holdsworth Jowett. The GRO reference is 23 131.

On the 1851 census I think it says Johnathan Jowett Holdsworth.

On FreeBMD in the last quarter of 1841 at Bradford there is a marriage for a Thomas Holdsworth. The GRO reference is 23 187. On that list there are four males and only three females. On the GRO Index there is an Ann Jowett listed with the same reference.
