Mountmellick CofI records, Townsend

Hi, I wondered if anyone had access to early CofI Mountmellick registers or burial inscriptions. I'm looking for the parents and any siblings of John Townsend born and died Mountmellick c1824/25-1891. I think his father was William, mother u/k. Siblings may include Frederick.

Interested if parents were English-born.

John joined army about 1842 (in 20th reg foot) married Jane Connolly in Co. Armagh 1858 and resettled in Mountmellick after he left the army in 1863. Raised 11 children there. Seven sons went to Royal Hibernian Military School in Phoenix Park - 1860s-1890s.  Some eventually settled in England and Scotland and one went to America in 1880s or 1890s.
Any info welcome.
Children are William 1858, John, Catherine, James, Thomas, Edward, RAchael, Jane, Ellen, George and Arthur.
