Montraul?? completed with Thanks
« on: Monday 23 March 09 17:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
Has anyone heard or know of a village in Ontario called Montraul?

I am looking into my cousins line for her and she is adamant that her grandfather was from there and not Montreal.   I am out of ideas as far  as searching goes as all I get back is montreal.

There's quite a few "M" towns missing from that list.

There appears to be a Montreuil Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Could that be it?

Was your cousin's grandfather born before 1909? If so if you give us his name there might be a birth registration listed which will help identify the location.
