Adding images to Posting & Profiles - Practice Post

Thanks Tati I was not aware of that  I've spent the last half hour tearing my hair out trying to insert an image. Can you insert one in a PM?

Hi Stan,

The thread you are trying to post the image on is presumably on one of the
Lookup Boards .. we are unable to post images on these threads using the
normal way of attaching .. because of the RootsChat copyright policy!  

I use Imageshack and then the Ctrl C .. Ctrl V method.

Only if it's retrieved from an internet site (as opposed to your hard drive). So you have to upload to a site such as imageshack first and then use the little 'insert image' icon. But then that's something you can do on the lookup boards too

   I've put a picture (above) of my Grx2 Granny but she's come out a bit big. Is this any use for restoration? Don't know much about this and finding it hard going.

Looks OK to me ... as you say, a tad on the large size, but if you rename the same picture (because RC now knows you have one with that name ... I just add a number to the name) ... and then re-post it here ...
