I could add it to that part of the site but couldn't find a facility to do it where I wanted to put it!?

We can't post images on the county lookup requests boards. 
This is to discourage people from posting certificates and census images.

No, I tried again but got -
 "Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand"

Is this because I'm using a MAC?

Are there different instructions for MAC's?

Or isn't it possible?

It shouldn't be any different for a MAC.

Are you sure you are trying to attach a valid file and that the allowed size size hasn't been exceeded ??
(Sometimes the error messages don't "fit" the problem)

Allowed file types: txt, rtf, jpg, jpeg, gif, tif, pdf, mpg, png, ged
Maximum attachment size allowed: 500 KB
