Sorry Jan couldn't find any of them in the three parts of Grimstone in 1841.  Could they have been in a neighbouring village?  Where were they in 1851?

On the 1851 census Alice was a nursemaid living with William Chapman and family, Field Barn, Grimstone.

Thomas and Elizabeth were also at Field Barn, Grimstone with daughter Ann 22 unm
