Glamorgan Census Lookup

Hi all

Can someone please help me with a few census look ups, have found him in the 1881

John Hughes aged 32 years born aberdare master of Hauliers coal miner
Sarah Hughes aged 30  born Pralotryn Glamorgan
Thom John Hughes  14 years Aberdare
David Hughes 12 years Aberdare
Ellen Hughes 10 years Aberdare
Catherine 7 years Aberdare

would be most grateful if anyone could look at any other census. have not been able to find the place called Pralotryn where Sarah was born

found a possible marrige in the march Q of 1865 Aberdare of a John Hughes and a Sarah Evans.

Pontlottyn is in Bargoed Glamorgan, that's great. and looks like Ellen married  and had a daughter Sarah Ellen.

I know Catherine Had a daughter Edna May Hughes, was unmarried and put fathers name on birth Cert as Richard Hughes. think catherine ended up in the work house and what i can gather edna in the Childrens Cottages in aberdare.

Sarah Ellen Parfitt was born 1894 1qtr Merthyr Tydfil 11a 726.

There is a marriage in 1891 Ellen Hughes to Caleb Parfitt  11a 948 3qtr..this could be them.

There is a death for Caleb Parfitt 1872-1893 Merthyr Tydfil age 21, 4qtr 11a 395...this could be him.

I haven't found him on the census yet, but there is a birth in Clutton, Somerset that could be him. Haven't found Ellen in the 1901 either.

I can't wait for the 1911 to come on line in the summer either...it's going to cost a fortune though with names like Hughes, Davies and Evans

Sorry I can't go back and further for you, I am none to confident with tracing back before marriage when they change birth places and ages

Perhaps you could put separate Request Thread on for them before marriage, giving the details and Rg number of where they were in 1861.
