marriage in st martin field in 1836

I am looking for a marriage between CLERET Edmé Augustin and STEIN Pauline Désirée the 25/09/1836 at st martin in the fields  i need to know the parents if possible

Fathers names were not shown on marriage entries pre-1.7.1837.  Mothers names are never shown

I cannot help with the look up.

HOwever -  it is still worth pursuing it to get the names of the witnesses.
I have a 1823 marriage at St Martins and this gives two witnesses names. If it was a 'quick' marriage (eg trying to avoid rules re bans etc, perhpas without parents knowledge) they may just be passers-by. But they cold be parents or siblings

This church was used for a lot of 'quick' marriages - without banns - in which case the couple would have to have obtained a license. This is worth pursuing as this will give further information.

Having said that, people did lie about age etc in order to obtain a license
