Very early Baptisms /marriages St Georges Mayfair
« on: Thursday 26 March 09 16:28 GMT (UK) »
I found this whilst searching for something else!  There are hundreds of Baptisms ad Marriages with all sorts of London places mentioned.  It goes on for ever and you have to scroll down a lot.  I thought it might be helpful to someone,

Just to let everyone know, this is an automated OCR transcription of the registers transcribed & published by the Harleian Society. There are many errors that the OCR program has made but not altered with manual checking afterwards. For instance, the OCR transcription has not correctly identified capital R's, they are on here as capital E's, for example Eichard, Eebecca, Eachael not Richard, Rebecca and Rachael.

Some scanned images of these register pages are available on the internet.

If you look at or download the pdf (25mb) it's all quite clear, as these pages are the original scans. It does start with rather a strange scan, then several blank pages.
