There's two likely marriages for John Burnett,

1845 to Margaret Burrell or Margaret Parker
and
1846 to Margaret Cook

found on freebmd searched 1841 to 1851 Co Durham

There's two possible deaths for John Burnett, one in 1863 and one in 1866 both Gateshead registration district which includes Heworth.

Thomas b 1889/1890 isn't there.  Now I look again he wasn't there in 1901 either.  Think he may have died 1893 Gateshead, aged 3.
