Aghadowey,
I’ve gone through the old post you have and it’s all connecting to the person I know as Edward McMaster definitely called Ned by people who knew him but didn’t have any history.
I’m certain he was married twice but one marriage produce no children.  Am I to understand that dates aren’t always exact as in one census age can be a few years out from the following census.
In danger of tying myself in knots here 😀
Intrigued by your ref to knowledge of further McMasters. Would be interested to peruse that if allowed and possible.

Have just replied on your topic.

Ages in census records, or even other records, aren't always accurate but we do have dates for Edward's birth, marriage, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
